LITERARY THEMED SPECIAL EVENTS

Join us for National Reading Month with this series of literary-themed candle parties in our Clayton studio.  A beloved selection of classic books for children and adults inspired this series of gorgeous DIY design projects, fantastic candles and lots of special extras!  We'll have literary quotes and decor with themed items and treats available at each event.  Dressing up is encouraged!  

All events are FREE to attend and can be upgraded to include a candle or art project in our studio.  Or both!  To book, choose the event then which project (you can always add on at the event if you're not sure) and then you'll see a pop up to select your date/time.

SAT/SUN MARCH 14-15 : "Dearest Gentle Reader"

All weekend long, join us for our Bridgerton--themed tea party.  Enjoy FREE tea, lemonade and treats while you craft a custom teacup candle, or decorate a stunning masquerade mask or parasol to take home and binge watch again in style!  

TUES MARCH 17 : "Wisp Goes Wilde" 4-7pm

Along with the Tuesday night tastings downstairs at The Market, we'll be having our own St Patrick's Day shindig celebrating the greats of Irish literature, from Oscar Wilde to Maeve Binchy.  Drink some FREE Irish tea or coffee while you create your own Celtic knot or shamrock themed DIY art project, or make an Irish Coffee mug candle in your choice of scents.  

SAT/SUN MARCH 21-22: "Teddy Bear Picnic"

We're "bear-y" excited to salute the great bears of literature from Pooh to Paddington.  Bring the whole family (teddies welcome!) and make your own honey pot candle or paint an adorable Paddington Wellie boot planter.  We'll be featuring other Market vendors with their honey-themed snacks and of course, marmalade sandwiches!  

SAT/SUN MARCH 28-29: "Scents & Sensibility"

Our studio will be transformed with white linen tablecloths, flowers and of course, romantic candles burning as we celebrate the authors and poets of the Romantic era - Jane Austen, Mary Shelley and poets Byron, Wordsworth, Keats and more.  Decorate a parasol or masquerade mask, add a poem or quote custom candle label and enjoy FREE tea and treats from our fellow Market vendors.
